HISTORY & BACKGROUND

We are a community of Pakistani Urdu speaking believers who are passionate about pursuing God’s plan in our community and other people’s lives. We seek to grow together in Christian Faith.

The Pakistani community has very high regards for the church in New Zealand.

​

Sandeep Jeewan Church was formed in 2004 and is the first founding Pakistani community-based church in New Zealand. Services are conducted in Urdu, led by Pastor Stephen Sadiq & Rahat Stephen. Ps Stephen, the senior Pastor and Rahat Stephen, of Sandeep Jeewan Church have been in pastoral ministry for the last 17 years. The couple were born in Pakistan and have been residing in New Zealand since 1998. They are blessed with three teenage children.

The Church is focused to serve the young and old, people of all works of life. Ps Stephen and Rahat have a passion for their ministry with the Lord and have people serving hearts. Their commitment for God and mentoring people is contagious and their desire to see people live their Christian lives in practical ways is well known.
